Kirtan lover, Bhakti-yogini, Yoga teacher
«Kirtan allows us to enter into a mystery world – a world where all the logic of our minds, all the conditioning and learning are left outside. And in this mystery we create a temple inside of our hearts, a place of refuge, a place of love, a place of just being.»
– Jai Uttal
After a discovery of asana practice in a hometown library book, Radha Kripa’s interest in the wisdom teachings and personal transformation during her high school time led her into Bhakti-yoga tradition, which emerged as a profound science of life rich in philosophical nuances and practical guidances towards a life of integrity and authenticity. After university graduation in Spanish language and literature, Radha Kripa spent 8 following years immersing herself in the practices of Bhakti and scriptural studies, and attending philosophy seminars, mantra meditation and kirtan events in both Europe and India. Rediscovering the joy of practicing asana and pranayama brought about further yoga studies and a full time engagement as a yoga teacher in the field of asana, mantra meditation and yoga philosophy. Together with her husband JayGopal, Radha Kripa is finding immense joy in sharing the beauty of kirtan and mantra meditation with others.
